Where is Hotel Sterne
is situated in the hills above Interlaken and Lake Thunersee, at 1,150 m above the sea level, the chalet-style Hotel Sterne in the Alpine village of Beatenberg offers panoramic views of the Jungfrau peaks surrounded by the huge mountains . By car: Hotel Sterne is situated close to Beatenberg village center which is about 10km from Interlaken (15 min drive). Please note that that the hotel strongly advises guests to arrive on the road from Interlaken. The route via Thun and Sigriswil is less safe and not recommended.
By bus: There is an hourly bus connection between Beatenberg and Interlaken West. Bus number 101 takes 25min to reach Hotel Sterne from Interlaken West train station. Bus stop is only 20 metres from the hotel and the name of the stop is ‘Bei der Kirchen’ (by the churches). It is the second stop after the Tourist Centre.
